COVID-19 Operating Procedures
Things are a little different in our day to day at the clinic since the emergence of COVID-19. Below you can see the procedures we are putting into place to ensure the safety of our practitioners and patients. These will remain in place until further notice.

Normal Operating Procedures: prior to COVID-19
- Treatment rooms should be kept clean and sanitary.
- A sink with hot and cold running water must be located in or near treatment rooms with liquid hand soap and towels available. Alcohol based hand sanitizers will also be available.
- Any disposable material, towel, or sheet that contacts patients skin should be clean and laundered before use.
- Treatment room tables, shelves, and working space should be cleaned with suitable disinfectant at least once a day or whenever visibly contaminated.
- Treatment tables and chairs used for treatments to be disinfected between each patient visit.
- Reusable medical and AOM equipment must be disinfected between use on patients per CDC guidelines.
- Clean Needle Techniques to be adhered at all times. Sterile, single use needles disposed after each treatment.
Additional Operating Procedures with COVID-19
- Emerging CDC guidelines: Any and all new CDC recommendations will be incorporated as instructed by the Department of Public Health.
- To adhere to social distancing requirements all patients should come alone to their appointment; with the exception of a parent accompanying a child.
- In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will need to reschedule their appointment for a later date. Patients will be verbally screened for symptoms upon arrival.
- Our office hours remain the same but we will adjusting available appointment times to limit the number of people in the office at any given time.
- Before your appointment time you have the option to stay in your car instead of the waiting area. Simply text upon arrival and we will let you know when we're ready for you!
- Upon entering the office please sanitize your hands (provided at the front desk).
- Patient PPE: Per government recommendations all patients should wear mask in the office, except during their treatment.
- Provider PPE: We will be wearing masks at all times.
- Checkout: When possible rescheduling will be done in the treatment room. If you have a card on file your card will be used to collect payment and a receipt will be emailed to you. If you do not have a card on file we will take payment while you wait in the treatment room.
